PV Stop offers a fire retardant solution that acts as a liquid blanket shutting down solar panels quickly in emergencies. Solar panels continue to produce potentially lethal amount of DC Voltage in the event of short circuits or emergency situations.

Solar panels cannot be turned off when exposed to light. This creates an area known as “the DC Danger Zone”, which until now has posed a safety risk.

PVStop is a non-flammable, fire retardant, polymer film technology.

This makes it the only reactive fire retardant solution on the global market which safely deactivates photovoltaic panels in all weather conditions. It eliminates the risk of high voltage DC electrocution by behaving much like a liquid blanket shutting down solar panels in a matter of seconds.

The non-destructive nature of PV Stop means that it can be peeled off the solar panel up to 12 months after application. Our cutting edge technological developments are helping protect people and the environment without damaging the solar panel system.

2 weeks ago the hills district in NSW got hit by a severe hail storm. From this 219 solar systems were inspected which left 25% of the systems badly damaged. These systems were life threatening and needed to be safely shut down to prevent fire and electrocution. In order to make the Solar systems safe PV stop was used to instantly decommission the solar panels.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Just Blew Everyone Away With This Post On FB. Wow.

Of course there needs to be a considered and measured exit from fossil fuels and not an overnight wholesale conversion to 100% renewable energy and yes the manufacturing process of renewables is not without environmental impact, but surely no reasonable human being can continue to hold on to fossil fuel energy generation as a viable plan for the future? https://www.facebook.com/greg.timbs.9/posts/10154964749314882
