Today I heard a very sad story about a young mum who broke up with her partner approximately 4 weeks ago and is living at the moment in a women’s refuge because she was asked to leave the family home, with their 2 young beautiful children, This beautiful young lady has been applying for rentals but understands that this will take some time in the New Year to hear if she has been successful or not, and we all know how long this can take. Real estate’s select applicants with the best profile, ie: work history etc. Ideally she is looking for a granny flat to rent, and I suggested that I would put something on our page, because perhaps someone reading this post will know someone that has an empty granny flat that would be happy to rent it out to her. This lady also is short of a few things, like a couch and crockery, towels and linen etc, If anybody has something not being used and would be willing to help a local lady in such need, please message me in my inbox and I’ll put you in touch with her. As well as, who has an empty granny flat they would be happy to rent out? Can you think of somebody?

The Secret Garden is closed from today and will reopen in the new year, thanks to everyone for your support and have a safe and Merry Christmas. We will open around the 10th of January, but this depends on the weather, ie: if it is way way way too hot, we will enjoy this time with our families and return a little later than expected. We will let you know via fb the exact date next year when we open. We have some very exciting plans for next year that I can not share with you at this stage, sorry. Some days we get asked for unusual request – off the menu, anywhere from making baby food, to people with Allergies, not a problem, we will do what we can, when we can. Today’s was a white egg omelette, with spinach, mushrooms and slow cooked Roma tomatoes. And here is the result, the lady said “that it was fantastic", awesome, and glad we were able to please.
