The Ladies and Men's Singles Club Championships have been run and won. Congratulations to the winners, Beryl Richards and Brian Calder who gained hard earned victories over their respective opponents Leslie Benko and Tony Wheatley. Thank you also to the large number of members who turned up to support the players in the finals. A big thank you to all the people who organised the club Christmas Party on Saturday night. There was lots of wonderful food, great prizes and plenty of laughs. The gathering was also treated to a timely visit from our resident "not so bad" Santa, who this year managed to keep his chocolates in his sack rather than throwing them at the guests. A big thank you to Gordon for a great job of keeping all the guests hydrated throughout the evening. Although many made their way home at the conclusion of the raffle draw, a good number stayed on until the early ours of the morning, singing, dancing and generally enjoying themselves. It was a wonderful night at the Greythorn Bowling Club. The two Men's Championship combatants still found time for dance...

Happy and proud to announce HEARTBEAT EPWORTH will be holding a stall @ G.B.C Saturday 2 July, for all voters to purchase quality goods, and feel good for supporting these wonderful volunteers in raising much needed funds toward this cause. Live in the Manningham region? You probably don't need reminding Saturday, 2 July is the day we all vote. Polling booth this year is @ G.B.C. Plenty of parking, enter Park Ave. Doncaster. The grounds are fully catered for disabled and wheelchair access. The bbq will be fired up for a sausage sizzle, our friendly bowlers will be out on the green showing off their skills.(weather permitting)! Refreshments also available at the bar. If you haven't visited our club you will be in for a nice surprise of what we have to offer for all ages.

Despite the miserable weather a very successful and enjoyable morning. Many thanks to all who put in the time and effort to make this event run so well. To the many sponsors who supported us with quality prizes, catering, and donations we are grateful to you all for helping raise well needed money to go to the Cancer Council. All up a great morning tea with many new visitors, family and friends. Happy to announce on behalf of all who attended and supported, over $2400.00 will be forwarded to the Cancer Council.
