2016 presentation night

A huge turn out for our presentation night for 2016. Congratulations to all competitors and especially those who collected a top three placing in their class. A big thanks to our sponsors for the help throughout the year and for providing some great raffle prizes. 2016 has been a great year of racing, with some more property/track opportunities coming up 2017 is looking to be even better.

Barefoot Bowls We have the option to do some barefoot bowls from 6-7 on Thursday night, if you would be interested in participating please let us know by commenting below, if there is enough interest we will organise it with the bowls club, thank you. Ps, kids can join in the fun.

DVMCC 2016 PRESENTATION NIGHT & AGM. Next Thursday 1st of December DVMCC will be holding our presentation night and AGM at the Hurstbridge bowls club from 6:00pm. All members welcome with food and drinks provided. Bring the family along for a great night to congratulate the class winners for the year and no doubt have a few laughs throughout the night, hope to see you there.

HELPERS NEEDED!! As you know the A4DE is fast approaching and we have the best special test that we are controlling so the more hands on deck the better it will be. The track was marked out a couple of weeks ago and was pegged last weekend. We are looking for helpers for the following dates. Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th Bunting and running in of the track. Thursday 16th & Friday 17th These are our days so we will require many hands on deck. we will be after sweep riders to help any stranded riders and fix up any damaged bunting plus helpers to man technical parts of the track and help with timing etc. Anyone who can help out and get involved please contact us and let us know which day you will be available. once your name is down YOU ARE IN, we need to notify MA of the amount of volunteers we are providing so no late scratchings. A number of people have committed at our meeting last Thursday, names are posted in comments. Don't worry work will still be there when you get home 😉. Thanks guys.

Broadford MX October 2016

Well with a prime track ready to go things got a little crazy in the 24 hours leading up making it a tough muddy day of racing. With the tough conditions, all in all we managed to still have a great day with plenty of racing, and I imagine quite a lot of tired muscles. A big thanks to our event sponsor Moto GC for looking after us, supplying the raffle prizes and sweep riders. Also a big thanks to all of our volunteers & parents in the lead up and on the day, some of these guys dedicated their hole day to the event whilst hardly seeing their own kid ride, its much appreciated. Without everyone putting in and helping out it just doesn't work, thanks again. We hope everyone had a great day and we are sure some of the juniors learnt plenty about riding mud even though it was so hard.

Helpers will be needed prior to and during the event, any members that would like to join in and help out the club would be much appreciated, plus you will have the best seats in the house to see the action.
