We are pleased to be able to announce the appointment of Q & S Field Services as the exclusive GB Forestry & Ensign Grapple Agents for Tasmania. The appointment of Quentin & Samantha adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to the GB Forestry team. Quentin has 15 years extensive experience in the forest industry with 6 of those operating harvesters, the last 11 years has been on the repair, maintenance, design and rebuilding of forestry equipment. Samantha has grown up within the forestry industry with her father and two uncles having been involved in the industry for 20+ years. Samantha currently balances her time as stay at home parent to their four children along with the day to day running and administration of the business. Quentin’s eldest son, also heavily involved in the industry has been working as a harvester operator for the past two years. The benefit to our Tasmanian customers will be enormous. We will keep generous stock levels of GB Forestry parts at the Q&S base in Wivenhoe (Burnie). This will mean next day delivery anywhere in the state. Or even better if you’re nearby you can collect your bars, chains and sprockets from Q&S directly. Once their new shed is complete later this year we will also keep the popular grapple sizes in stock for our Tassie customers. We encourage all GB’s Tassie customers to contact Quentin directly for all your forestry requirements. Don’t forget to go and “like” the Q & S Field Services Facebook page also.
