We aim to promote healing, regain movement, flexibility, sensation, strength, endurance and overall function following surgical procedures , work place accidents, cumulative trauma/ repetitive strain, sports related injuries, congenital conditions, motor vehicle accidents, and also conditions associated with the aging process.
Our team of Occupational Therapists have extra training in the area of hand and upper limb therapy and maintain a strong commitment to ongoing education and training. Splinting, exercise, stretch and strengthening regimens are devised as home programs which are monitored and upgraded regularly ensuring patient management from injury to return to work.
We are committed to providing the highest standard of care and work in close consultation with Plastic and Orthopaedic Surgeons, GP’s, Allied Health Professionals and Insurers to help every patient achieve a full recovery and maximum function. This team approach ensures that patients referred to InHand Occupational Therapy receive the highest possible care.

After 7 years of loyal service we have finally let "Granny Ann" retire from her position as InHand admin manager/secretary. Her service was faultless... except for the time she accidentally posted the days cheques and banking in the mailbox instead of at the bank 😳! Luckily we have some new work lined up for her as she does bore easily!

Pretty excited about our new art work of Rottnest Island. We just couldn't go past it at the exhibition opening last night! We look forward to hanging it in the clinic so our clients and staff can enjoy it as much as we do.

Our therapists were lucky to attend the WA Meeting of the Australian Hand Surgery Society on the weekend. A particular highlight was Andrea Aztei who was invited from Italy and shared his knowledge and insights into wrist arthroscopy in particular for TFCC repair and reconstruction.

Stormy night in Perth but fingers crossed for clear skies tomorrow as we migrate to "the cloud" for our practice management system! We are looking forward to the flexibility and accessibility it will offer!

6 weeks ago this motivated patient arrived at our clinic unable to make more than 10% of a fist! There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the amazing gains a patient can make when they work so hard with their home programme and splinting regime!
