About us

Here at MuBu Home we believe that homes should feel like a sanctuary, where you feel as one with everything that surrounds you: your memories, your photos, your furniture, your beloved objects and of course the people you love.  We select quality pieces of furniture and homewares from Scandinavian designers or simply influenced by the principles of Scandinavian design. We love furniture that is strong, simple, honest, timeless, functional and fairly priced. Furniture that makes you feel good and at home. At MuBu Home we also have our very own R&D and make our very own pieces of exquisitely simple furniture here in Australia, with a lot of love.

Who are we?

We are a French-Australian couple living in Melbourne, Australia. MuBu Home was born out of our passion for all things for the home, our love for simply and beautifully crafted furniture and a bit of an obsession for good quality things that don’t cost the earth and resist the test of time. Traveling and living abroad for a few years, we know for sure that there is no place like home and creating that special home feeling is what we are passionate about. Jane Austen said ‘there is nothing like staying home for real comfort’ and we live by this saying. ‘HOME’, what a beautiful word…
