I AM SO EXCITED FOR DANCE THIS YEAR! I am just busting to get into the studio and start dancing! I can't stop dancing everywhere I go, all day and in my sleep at night! Hi all, Thought I would put this info out there as I've received a lot of questions regarding shoes and uniforms. Information regarding shoes for classes: Please ensure you have the correct shoes and attire for classes starting Monday 5th. JAZZ - tan or black leather, split sole, slip on jazz shoes TAP - tan or black tap shoes, laces or buckles HIP HOP - sneakers LYRICAL - half sole leather lyrical shoes in light tan or ballet pink CHEER - soft sole white sneakers ACRO - tan or black, leather acro pumps (must have grippy rubber pad on bottom) Websites you could use to purchase shoes: Bloch, Capezio, Dancesole, EBay Attire: LNDA uniform top + black shorts or leggings *for the boys class - I have brand new hip hop shirts on the way! They should be here by week 2 😎

Hey guys! The LNDA 2017 concert DVD is ready! 🎥 I'll be able to deliver orders as soon as I'm home - less than 2 weeks! 😄 Let me know if you'd like a copy! It's an MP4 on USB and costs $20.

💭💭💭 Looking for ideas to keep the kids active and entertained this school holidays?? Encourage them to dance! 🕺💃👯🤸‍♂️🎭🤹‍♀️ Here are some of my favourite ideas! I did this when I was a kid and loved it. 💟 Make up a dance routine with a friend and perform it for family 💟 Play 'dance teachers' - take turns with a friend leading 'warm up', 'across the floor' and 'combos'. 💟 Do a dance 'photo shoot' - with a friend, use an iPad to capture dance poses and then edit the pics together and create a collage! You could use your concert costumes for this one! 💟 head to a local park or find a large grassed back yard and practice leaps, cartwheels, walkovers, lay outs, even step ball change races!! Remember, a good warm up before dancing is important for preventing injuries so start with some fun cardio like jumping jacks, high knees, squat taps, jumping lunges, gallops left/right, tiny runs. Have fun!!! And if you make up a dance or do a cool dance photo shoot, upload it to the LNDA page! I'd love to see it! Xx
