Well friends ! We are coming to Christmas and the end of the year ! I also celebrated my birthday this week and I have much to be thankful for. Mainly I want to say thank you to all you friendly people who have supported me this year by buying paintings and mugs and frames, commenting encouraging words and sharing my art photos. This is an amazing woman from Kenya who is doing incredible and life changing work rescuing young girls out of child bride situations. I am so utterly inspired by her that I plan to create a large portrait of her. I'm also hoping that next year there is a way that my art can somehow support her work and the young girls she is helping. This lady is a hero in today's world friends. Samburu GIRLS Foundation

This week Looking Glass shown behind me was bought. I don't often bring abstracts, only when I feel struck by emotions and inclined to interpret them in paint . So it is always rewarding for me to see the abstracts being understood and having the ability to communicate with a viewer.

Had planned to start on a commission today, but it got bumped by these giraffes . I have been wanting to paint this image for such long time, but it was never the right time..so here it is in the early stages. Not sure how it will end up. Keep a lookout for the next update!
