I haven't learnt so much over the past 8 years with Hays and 5 years with James, and every time I'm with them I realise just how lucky I am. From Martial Arts, to sports science, business and presenting, I've been able to pick their brains, learn from first hand experience and have them on speed dial when ever I need. @ace_martialarts and @acexercise have given opportunities that you just can't buy, and I most certainly wouldn't be the person I am or in the position I am without these 2 guys and @mastersathletes People aren't grateful to have these learning experiences, that don't want to grow, do the time necessary or are just looking for the next pay check. Between all of us, the knowledge, hours accumulated in the field, and life experiences is mind blowing. Iv got a lot of catching up to do but I'm proud to be apart of such an amazing team. Never stop learning or growing and when you think you've got it all down pat, you fucking don't, go find someone else to learn from. And do the time without asking for money, you probably still haven't earned it, the world will pay back soon enough!

|| JUNE CLIENT OF THE MONTH - Rebecca Sassine || We are proud to announce that Bec Sassine was the well deserving recipient of this award and we couldn’t be happier with what Bec achieved in June. After coming back from an amazing safari holiday, she got straight back into the gym and without hesitation signed up for her first beginners Crossfit competition. Bec trained her butt off doing 5-6 sessions a week and put her best effort into the comp and absolutely smashed it, finishing in the top 5. Bec also set herself a goal of not drinking any alcohol for 8 weeks and applying herself to her own little 8 week challenge. So far, Bec is 5 weeks in and alcohol free! Meal prepping is something that a lot of people struggle with and Bec was one of those people. This month she has made a conscious effort to track her food and prep all meals to ensure that she is making the right choices. This has been a huge change for Bec and is one that is paying off as she has already dropped her body fat % over the past 3 weeks. We are over the moon with Becs dedication to her overall health and fitness and we cannot wait to see her results at the end of her 8 week block. You thoroughly deserved this award and of course that gold singlet! Keep it up Bec, we love your work!!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Beyond Blue Charity Event today. Thanks to all of you who donated we were able to raise a grand total of $6090.00 with our goal only being $2000. We are absolutely blown away. Also a massive congratulations to our partner challenge winners First Place - Caroline and Jess Second Place - Rebecca and Kelsey Third Place - Sonya and Michael What an wonderful day raising awareness for mental health and the Barriers surrounding it

II COACH EMILY, PERSONAL TRAINING - CLIENT RESULTS II A massive shout out and congratulations to my mum Cait Martin, who was my first ever PT client and since starting training with me, has achieved some unreal results. In the last 8-week training block, mum put on a solid 1.8kg of muscle and lost a massive 2.9% body fat. We were able to see these results thanks to the guys at Inbody who help us see our clients progress. My mum had struggled with losing body fat % but since she started focusing a lot harder on her nutrition by making it full of whole foods and cutting back on sugar and mid-week alcohol consumption, we have seen amazing results. When my mum first started training with me she was unable to squat correctly and had zero strength in her legs and core. Now she is able to do full depth weighted goblet squats, can hold lengthy planks and move some solid weights with her upper body. All of this wouldn’t have been possible if she wasn’t attending her weekly PT sessions as well as doing extras at home and making a few of our weekly classes at DBPT. The most important thing in my eyes is seeing how her stress levels have slowly decreased and that her overall demeaner has changed and has become more positive all due to her regular gym sessions and small changes in her lifestyle. This last Inbody scan really proved to mum that she can do it once she applies herself and puts her mind to it. I couldn’t be prouder of my mum and her efforts and am excited for what else she can achieve with me. Coach Emily
