Hi everyone, We all enjoyed the gesture of the coffee van kindly supplied by Marc on the weekend and appreciated his talk. Please find some words below from the new owners detailing the direction they would like the business to go: Regards Simon ****************************** Avanti Plus Cannington has been purchased by Michael D’Arcy and Marc Sherriff. Michael and Marc are also the owners of the TBE Bikes (The Bicycle Entrepreneur) group of stores. TBE Bikes employs over 65 staff, across their 5 retail, and service centre locations. They are Western Australia’s largest Bicycle retail group. It is their intention integrate the Avanti Plus Cannington store into the group, whilst maintaining its own identity. They plan to maintain only the existing key brands of bicycles available at that store. Scott, Avanti and Raleigh bikes. There will some accessory and apparel brands introduced to the existing range available in store. All customers, and members of both The Rider’s Club, and the Race Team, should feel assured that the business will maintain the high level of service they are used to, but will enjoy the benefits from being part of the bigger TBE group. Namely stock and brand availability. Avanti Plus Cannington will be rebranded in the coming month. The business name will change, as will all the signage, and company colour themes. This is in line with the national rebranding of the Avanti Plus stores. Due to the rebranding, and associated renaming of the business, Michael and Marc are also working with an apparel manufacturer, to ensure the new shop branded apparel will be available as soon as possible. Hopefully to coincide with the opening of the store, on completion of its refit. This apparel will be offered to existing club members, and racers at a significantly discounted price. They will also be hosting an event for all riders and race members, on completion of the store refit, to introduce themselves, and the store management team. Michael and Marc have been with TBE for over 20 years each, and look forward to a long and successful bike shop presence at Avanti Plus Cannington. They both hope to see you in there soon.

Hi all. The Tour de France night on the 8th July will now be held at the South Beach Hotel, Fremantle (http://sbh.net.au/) from 7:30pm We have our own area at the hotel booked, so we can order our drinks and/or a meals, then sit back and enjoy the evening with our friends. The meal prices are nice and cheap, so this is a night you don't want to miss. If you have any questions, please post them in the comments and I'll do my best to answer them. Regards Simon.

For those keen. After tomorrow's MTB skills clinic we will head to the jarrahdale tavern for lunch and a beverage. This will help us to become much better in our own minds.

Finally we get the opportunity to try out our wet weather gear! Tomorrow's routes will be decided in the morning as we need to consider the weather conditions. Thankfully we have a lot of route options to choose from, that will see us have a fun and safe ride.

What an amazing morning. Sarah and I can't thank you enough for this morning. We feel very lucky to have such special people in our lives. It is not often that I am lost for words but today did it. Hi. Michael and Sarah here. It is Thursday so time to put up this weeks rides. As this is the last group ride as shop owner I have taken the liberty of creating this weeks route/s for A, B and C. And guess where we are going? Keep guessing........ Yes it is a surprise. It will suit everyone and it is all new and all old all at the same time. I know some people have events on this weekend and that also is catered for. Sarah will be riding with social and they have a bit of surprise for you as well. So please come along.
