Although I started my training in contemporary dance, I have always been enthralled and mesmerised by the world of Bollywood: where glitz & glamour merge with tradition and values, artfully tied altogether with the power of heavenly music. I was drawn to and trained in Jazz for it had the same transcendent appeal to me. Dance is a way to my soul. It's my way of existing.
Today, I learn from talented teachers in the Indian classical dance form called Kathak; where poise and grace meet story-telling.
I express myself better in dance than in words. My body's organic interpretation of Bollywood music continues to bring out an intensity of emotion I didn't know I was capable of. Come join the experience and let your bodies do the talking!
