Congratulations to our Junior members selected in the ACT Schools Golf Team to participate in the 2017 Pacific Schools Games in Adelaide on December 3rd - 9th. Tom O’Rourke 17 years and Under Team TaylahEllems 17 years and Under Team Silka Solomon 12 years and Under Team Nathan White 12 years and Under Team Ryan Ulrich 12 years and Under Team Levi Brideson 12 years and Under Team Kasha Solomon 12 years and Under Team (Reserve) Competition is held on some of Adelaide’s most prestigious golf courses including Kooyonga, The Grange, West Lakes and Glenelg. The Pacific School Games includes students from 15 countries and every Australian State and Territory. The selection of these Yowani members is an outstanding achievement for the individuals selected as well as the Yowani Country Club Junior programs and pathway. Please be generous in supporting fund raising activities for this trip which you will see around the club in the coming months.

From our Golf Professional Jordana My Swing Fit kit arrived today! Starting 5th August for 6 weeks at 1.45pm I will be running a swing fit program designed for women! Winners of the team event at the Ace of Clubs tournament held over 4 days at Merimbula, Bega, Tura Beach and Eden, Geoff Strang, Brad Tepper, Dave Harris and Ken Norris. Brad also came third in the men's overall event.

Big day for our Men's Bowls Pennant Team. Grand Final today at 1pm at Weston Creek. Go guys.

Brindabella Shield went down 1 and 1/2 to 3 1/2 to Royal Canberra in the semi final today at Queanbeyan. Win to Sharon Griffin and a squared match to Kerry Basman. Rosie and Megan both lost on the 18th. Great job girls to get to the Semi final undefeated.
