Bush Kinder

Each week our intrepid #kinder kids set off for a grand adventure at #BushKinder! They bush walk, build shelters, climb, stomp in mud, and look for birds, bugs, insects and lizards to learn about their habitat. The benefits of problem solving, exploration, imagination and resilience in nature's own playground are indisputable.

#OldMacDonald had a farm, e-i-e-i-o. The educators in the 0-2 room created this wonderful wall display of farm animals and have been singing the song together. Also with the special skills of our educator Kara, the toddlers are learning sign language so they can communicate as their language skills develop.

The 2-3 room has been following the journey of the little caterpillar. Today they headed to the park to collect sticks to make a cocoon to help it turn into a beautiful butterfly. We also stopped for a sneaky play on the equipment and a well-earned snack!
