Welcome to the inaugural Ignite Chilli Festival 2017 to be held in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, Queensland! This is for all those thousands of people who love and idolise chilli.
Attracting a diverse range of locals and visiting chilli enthusiasts, the Ignite Chilli Festival will serve up unique stalls offering products related to anything chilli including; arts and crafts, fashion, street food, jewellery, home-wares and lifestyle products with a focus on handmade and local wares where possible.
We have lively bands and entertainment linep up plus a full program of activities on the boil. Lets just say it will be "hot" !
The festival will take place in the recently streetscaped Bulcock Street, and flow into surrounding laneways, in the heart of beautiful Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

Hot 91.1 Ignite Chilli Festival will ‘reignite’ on November 17! The festival introduces the exciting world of chillies, herbs and spices that fuses food, music and people to downtown Caloundra. The Caloundra Chamber of Commerce will again host the event with Hot 91.1 coming back on board as the naming right sponsor. The Hot 91.1 Ignite Chilli Festival is a great opportunity to taste new foods from around the world whilst enjoying live music, cooking demonstrations and diverse stalls selling everything from chilli seeds to chilli sauces, jewellery and other products associated with chilli. Stay tuned for new program additions this year.
