Does anyone have the music for Geoffrey Hanson's oboe Concerto ( piano reduction instead of string parts are fine). If so, please let me know. Thanks
New students always welcome
One of the sad things is that over the last few years, I have sent my teaching flyer and business card to over 60 schools music departments in travelable to schools in my area, and only one - which was a private music institution actually had the decency to respond or inquire. I can understand if there is not the demand for an oboe teacher in Sydney's South west, but where is the common courtesy? A simple reply by letter, email or phone call....Is it too much to ask?

As I get older I find it hard to practise on hot days....about 30 degrees in my room at the moment - so I can only do very short bursts.

Pauline Oostenrijk - 20th Century English Music for Oboe CD
This CD of one of my favourite oboists, Pauline Oostenrijk is heartily recommended.; One of the best recordings of the Blake songs I have heard...but everything on the disc is superb. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=1441926&style=music&setpref=none
