I am a bit slow sometimes. Just read last Sunday's Sunday mail and on page 19 there is a very interesting but small column on how fast food is causing allergies and auto-immune issues. Should be front page news! Anyway lets not get too upset. At least its got to print. The article is fairly narrow in scope saying that the way we eat processed food that is deep fried and microwaved causes damaging chemicals that trigger our bodies immune responses resulting in allergies and auto-immune diseases. I think that this is just the tip of the iceberg of problems with our food chain. The article says "foods in their original state are not at fault". WOW!!! Does this mean that if we ate real whole foods that aren't processed and deep fried in seed oil, we would all be better off? Can you believe that!?
