Our Year 6 students attended the Oncology Ward of the Princess Alexandra Hospital recently. Our students moved through various wards ‘singing and speaking’ to staff and patients. By about an hour into the visit we here at school received a phone call from a patient congratulating our students and staff and thanking us for ‘lighting up’ their day. She mentioned how wonderful it was to hear the lovely singing in the corridors and rooms, instead of the machines beeping. She said it helped bring some cheer to all of the patients and staff. We are so proud of our students.
