Leafy greens grower. Located near Blackwood. Check out the long description for more details! Hello, thanks for viewing my page, my name is Joseph Zadow and I grow leafy greens. I have a large backyard garden and grow a large variety of greens mainly as a hobby currently, but with a view to making a business of it. I grow all year round. I do not grow or sell anything that I would not be happy to eat myself. Greens I grow include lettuce, silverbeet, spinach, mustard greens, Asian greens, beetroot greens, rocket, endive, amaranth, orach, kale, and herbs. I am not certified, but I do grow organically, having never used pesticides, insecticides etc in my life. I grow from organic, organic, non GMO, non hybrid seeds. My greens are grown in completely natural conditions, they are high quality, very crisp, flavorsome and keep well. I love growing them, they are extremely good for you and an essential part of a healthy diet!

The greens have a range of hot, bitter, and mild tastes. They are suitable for eating raw or cooking (however you like!) and I am happy to cater to your needs. I charge $5 per 200g. I usually pick a mix of greens consisting of what is available in the garden, or I can pick what you want more specifically (so just let me know what type of greens you want more of). I am happy to accommodate what you want and will work in with you. I pick the greens in the morning when they are their freshest the same day as pickup, however I can pick on short notice as well. Once picked and packed, I place the greens in a blue cool box out the front of my place so that pickup is easy, convenient, and you can pick them up whenever is suitable for you. I will consider doing a delivery run in the future if there is sufficient interest. Please message me if you are interested, I am happy to provide other details such as my mobile number etc. I am located in Eden Hills, close to Blackwood.

Thank you, Joseph.

Hey all, thanks for buying my greens. I am currently working another job at the moment, so would appreciate if you would give me as much notice as possible to pick for you! Notifying me the day/night before the day you want to pick up some greens is great as I will pick them early in the morning and put them out. Hope that makes sense. I have a lot of new season greens growing currently eg kale, collards, spinach, lettuce, silverbeet which will be ready to go for autumn/winter either for salads or steamed/cooked/juiced! I have also been madly working on improving my soil and the way/what I am growing - I have learnt a lot over the past few months, so expect the greens to be of even higher quality in the future (always looking to improve what I am doing, and appreciate all constructive feedback). Thanks, Joseph. :)

Hey all, just thought I'd say I am fairly new to this so am always looking improve what I am doing. I do value feedback positive or negative so I can improve further, and put a lot of effort into each order. I am still gauging which greens are the most liked/popular and will be growing more of these to meet demand. If there is something you don't like / a green you do or don't want in your mix etc please let me know. I am more than happy to work in with what you want. Also, sometimes fb messenger doesn't get your messages through to me for ages, so if I haven't responded, odds are I haven't actually received it yet. Thanks :)

Hey all, just a tip which may be useful. I have found that the greens keep best in a damp wet cotton cloth (I use a tea towel). I do wash the greens, but best to give them a rinse before eating, as some leaves in particular the crinkly ones, are good at hiding dirt etc. Thanks :)
