I just popped into Gamble Cottage this afternoon to have a look around and I met some amazing volunteers both from the National Trust and from the Friends of Gamble Garden. I did not know this, but the garden is always open to the public, it's the perfect place for a picnic, the kids can run around, and there is an amazing tree that you can hide in! (Discovered by my boys) Chris and Gwen are just a couple of the ladies that keep the garden looking amazing all year round. You can buy plants for $3-$5 which have been propagated in the greenhouse and resold to keeps things running! If you are looking for a great Christmas gift, there are 2017 calendars for sale for $12
