Counselling and Mental Health at Curtin
Description
Curtin Counselling Services offers confidential individual and group counselling to students and staff of the university. We also provide support for people with disabilities and outreach services. Welcome to our Facebook page which we've set up as an online information source about counselling and mental health services for students and staff attending Curtin University.
Though the option is there to comment on what we post with your thoughts and reactions, we ask that you remain respectful and follow these simple house rules:
1. Play nice. Not much more to say: no haters, no trolling, no hijacking posts.
2. Play it clean. What's said here is visible to all - your friends, colleagues, parents and perhaps future employers.
3. Play safe. Don't get too personal or belligerent, and protect your own privacy.
4. Play appropriately. This community is for and about Curtin counselling and mental health services - no spamming, unrelated or inappropriate posts please.
Please also bear in mind that this page is NOT intended to be an avenue through which counsellors can be contacted with requests for assistance or in the event of any emergency. These should be made by phone within office hours (as above) or directed to the appropriate crisis service after hours. eg. Lifeline at http://www.lifelinewa.org.au/
While this community has been set up by Curtin University (and specifically counselling and mental health services) staff, please be aware that this community plays no role in any official communication, advice or administration.
Curtin University is not liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of any user acting on or accessing the information available within this community.
If in doubt, email us at counselling@curtin.edu.au.
