Sat 13th May Jay Seeney Band Live on their 'Light Me Up Tour' @ The Music Man Ground Floor FREE SHOW Plus Special Guests Natalie Pearson and Megan Sidwell Doors 7pm and it's FREE ENTRY Country Rock at it's Best When you’ve seen Jay Seeney perform, you know it; vibrant, tasteful, bursting with energy & one of a kind. Having already been dubbed a virtuoso by many industry reps, Jay has played his fair share of gigs; some to tens of thousands of people, others to small bar. However, one thing remains the same. A high energy, passionate performance for all involved. Currently the lead shredder for two strongly established country/rock act: Forever Road, Jay has played with some of country's best talents such as: Vaughan Jones (Troy Cassar-Daley), Kaylens Rain, Tori Darke, Amelia Richards, Peter McWhirter, Paul Cowderoy, Shannon Noll and Missy Lancaster. Jay continues to write and release high energy solo rock tracks. In the last two years playing on the country/rock circuit, Jay Seeney has already performed at some of Australia’s biggest country festivals including: CMC’s Rocks the Hunter, Gympie Music Muster & the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Forever Road band have been booked solidly throughout NSW & Queensland. Jay’s playing style could be compared to the more modern styles of Joe Satriani & Steve Vai infused with an Eric Clapton style blues approach & a touch of country twang. Now 22 years old, Jay is continuing to hone his craft on stage with Forever Road. During live shows, Jay combines youth energy with a more mature style of playing to create a great experience for all watching. Jay aspires to be one of the best guitar players across a number of genres and increase his versatility further. With a plethora of varying musical tastes ranging from country to blues to metalcore to jazz, Jay is always looking for new sounds to create. What’s on the horizon?
