The Capital - Bendigo's Performing Arts Centre. The Capital is one of Bendigo's spectacular & iconic landmarks. We present many beautiful shows in our intimate theatre, ranging from contemporary and traditional, to everything in between!
Whatever your age - or taste! - The Capital has an exciting and diverse program of events, that will appeal to everyone. We also manage and operate a range of different venues in the building, and around Bendigo.

Each concert offers something different from classical to experimental music, and ensembles through to solo performances. "Writer and performer Sarah-Jane Fawcett is determined to make theatre more accessible for passionate and creative people with neurodiverse disorders. Fawcett wrote her 45-minute one-act play Max Pry: Private Eye years ago but has adapted it along with a more flexible rehearsal period for people with neurodiverse disorders."
