Arnold Street Gallery is an eclectic contemporary art gallery incorporating exhibition space, art school and work shop series. Arnold Street Gallery is an eclectic contemporary art gallery incorporating exhibition space, art school and work shop series delivered by professional artists. Established by Bendigo based artists Dr. Susan McMinn and Tegan Wheeldon in 2016, the gallery welcomed Sara McQueenie on board in 2017. Located in North Bendigo in what was once the local ‘Milk Bar’, the gallery is well situated being only 6 mins from the Bendigo Arts precinct and 2 mins from the new Arts Series Hotel. Designed for the exhibition and sale of contemporary art by emerging, mid-career and established Australian artists, the gallery aims to provide a supportive environment showcasing a range of media in an exciting and funky exhibition space. We accept submissions for exhibition throughout the year during artist callouts.

Primary Art Classes – Tuesday Evenings, 4.30 – 5.30pm (Starting on 30th January – 27th March 2018) 9 weeks x 1 hr classes – $180 We have an exciting new program for the Primary Art Students in 2018. Students will enjoy creating colourful artworks using a variety of Materials. Classes will be facilitated by experienced artist and art teacher Natalie Newman. Natalie has had extensive experience teaching art to Primary and Secondary students. She is an accomplished artist having been involved in several exhibitions including 'Fox and Mouse' where she showed a serious of quirky prints. In these classes Natalie will pass on her skills and quirky style whilst teaching the students ways to explore art, the use of materials and techniques in the creation of finished artworks. Collage Portraiture Workshop with Joan Harris Sunday 18th February 2017 | 10am - 4pm Locations: Arnold Street Gallery **The Workshop This workshop will focus on various head studies worked from the model as well as photographic references. Planes of tone and form will be investigated initially through the medium of charcoal and then through the medium of collage.
