We received Highly Commended in the Heritage Innovation category at the Ballarat Heritage Awards for last year's #GoldBar. It was an honour to share this with Ballarat Tramway Museum. Mourning brooches
Mourning jewellery became popular in 1861 when Queen Victoria went into deep mourning following the death of her husband, Prince Albert. Queen Victoria wore black clothing and matching jewellery until her death in 1901. Brooches usually featured a photo of the deceased, sometimes with a sample of their hair.

Happy birthday Punch and Judy! #OnThisDay Mr Punch made his first appearance in a puppet show in England in 1662. The popular puppet show features Judy and her temperamental, club-wielding husband Mr Punch.
