We are a community of people in our senior years committed to personal and community health of body, mind and spirit. To advance the intellectual and cultural interests of our members through mental and physical activity; for the satisfaction of making a contribution to society; for discovering new interests and extending those interests. We work with others to improve the status, well being and position of older people in our community. We share with others the skills, experience and expertise gained during our lifetime. We experience the joy of learning.

Happy New Year from the Board of Management of U3A Campbelltown SA. We trust 2017 will be kind to you. We hope you enjoyed your Christmas and New Year break and are looking forward to another year of fun and laughter through rewarding friendship and learning. There are many classes and courses on offer. Pictured are some of our members at the Planning Day held mid-2016. Don't forget that this Thursday, 19 January is enrolment day. Go to Learn More to access our website. New members can download the 2017 Prospectus to learn about our classes, register and enrol. Current members can download the enrolment form. Bring your forms with the relevant cash or pay by electronic funds transfer (details on the website) and bring your receipt with your enrolment form. We look forward to seeing you on 19th.

U3A Campbelltown participated in the Campbelltown City Council Christmas Parade last evening, 4 December, and members received a warm welcome from the watching public. It was an excellent opportunity to highlight what U3A has to offer. Many thanks to Paradise Motors for their generosity in lending us the vehicle.

If you are over 50 and work less than 20 hours per week, perhaps newly retired and looking for an alternative to day-time television, U3A will help to keep you healthy in mind and body and provide you with the opportunity to make new friends. Our last newsletter for 2016 has just been published and with it, the Prospectus and Registration & Enrolment Form for 2017. Click on 'Learn More' to explore our website and learn how you can become a member of U3A Campbelltown South Australia and enjoy all the activities. Plan now and be ready to step into 2017. Members are encouraged to register and enrol by the end of this term on Wednesday and Thursday 14 & 15 December during normal office hours. Public Enrolment Day is Thursday 19 January from 9:30am to 3:30pm but you are also welcome to call in to our office before the end of this term.
