We have signed up to take part in the World's Greatest Shave - Funky Hair Day on Friday March 17th to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. Tommorrow morning OzHarvest will be coming to collect our donation of Canned Foods for less fortunate people that have been donated by Families & Staff at the Centre. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has joined in & kindly donated to a wonderful cause. Any donations of canned foods received after the collection tomorrow morning will be taken to another local charity on Friday. Thanks :-)

Victor, an educator in our Kinder Room, has a passion for gardening. Throughout the year he has been teaching the children about plants including - the reproduction of plants, how to grow plants from seeds and clippings, the transpiration of flowers (how to change the colour of flowers from one colour to another) & how to care for the herb garden & other plants we have in the Centre. Pictured below is a mini terrarium & mini nursery that Victor & the children made.

Goodstart Altona has 2 pet rabbits, sisters, Anna & Elsa. All of the kids enjoy helping to feed & care for the rabbits. Anna is mischeavious whilst Elsa is camera shy, hence her turning her back to us!
