Description
The Riverina Weightlifting Club is an Official Weightlifting Club. For anyone wishing to compete in Olympic Weightlifting. Riverina Weightlifting Club Albury is an Olympic Lifting Facility with a qualified Australian Weightlifting Federation Coach.
The Riverina Weightlifting Club is affiliated under the Weightlifting ACT Canberra Club.
We are for those who wish to compete from the Riverina, Hume and Murray regions but don't have a club to register under for competition. We also are for those who wish to simply improve their weightlifting.
Riverina Weightlifting is located within CrossFit Touch N Go Albury with two designated weightlifting platforms, Olympic bars and Bumpers.
Our goal is the Athlete to become who they want to become, we will help you along the way to assist all in reaching and achieving your goals.

Congratulations to our Junior Lifter, Kanakai who competed in the Australian Championships in Brissie this weekend. Absolutely smashed it, he hit an equal PB on the snatch of 60kg and punched out an enormous 7kg PB and hit 82kg on the clean and jerk 😳😳🏋🏻🏋🏻 and at 13yrs old, makes it even more impressive 😀😀 So proud of his efforts lately, absolutely killing it, will be awesome to see how far he can go, bring on a Hundy next yr!! Thanks to @ashfewson and @jenfewson for helping us get here and everyone else who helped raise money to get Kanakai and I up here today. Olympic Lifting Course - 6 Spots available After our HUGE Response and Success to our last 2 X 6 week Olympic Lifting Program, we are releasing dates early and taking bookings for our next 6 week Block. A Group - Has to have done a minimum of 1 Months CrossFit with an affiliated CrossFit Gym or completed the last Beginner group cycle, or completed one on one Oly PT with RWC. Only 6 Spots available, Mon and Wed Nights @ 6.15pm Weightlifting is a growing sport, and sporting industries and fitness in general are seeing it as one of the leading ways to get strong whilst building lean muscle mass. Cost will be $150 (usually $500 worth of value in Coaching sessions, + Programming Valued at $200) If you are interested in improving your Olympic lifting please inbox your details including your email address, name and best contact number to us. Riverina Weightlifting Clubs Junior Lifter Kanakai Reibelt took out First Place in the Under 15 and second Place in youths Nationals on the weekend, with a 55kg Snatch and a 70kg Clean and Jerk @ 55kg body weight and 13yrs old. Kanakai was the youngest lifter in his category, such an achievement 👏🏻👏🏻 Kanakai has now qualified for the Australian Championships in September. Congratulations and we look forward to seeing what he does at Australian Championships.
Kanakai Reibelt putting in the hard work before he heads to Sydney in July for the Australian Weightlifting Nationals. This will be Kanakai's third year at the Aus Nationals, will it be another podium finish!!! Weightlifting is a growing sport, and sporting industries and fitness in general are seeing it as one of the leading ways to get strong whilst building lean muscle mass. B Group is looking for candidates, in the following categories to take on a 6 Week 2 Class per week Olympic Lifting Program starting Tues 21 Jun @ 6.15pm. Cost will be $150 (usually $500 worth of value in Coaching sessions, + Programming Valued at $200) If you fit any of the below categories please inbox your details including your email address, name and best contact number to us. Teen - aged 15-18, must play some sort of physical sport, have no injuries, and be able to commit to 6 weeks 2 classes per week 40min sessions. 2. Female - must have no injuries, preferably had children and looking to strengthen core stability, and be able to commit to 6 weeks 2 classes per week 40min sessions. 3. Male - must have no injuries, play some sort of sport, with little to no gym experience, looking to transfer strength into their sport, and be able to commit to 6 weeks 2 classes per week 40min sessions. 4. Male or Female - aged - 40+ looking to feel stronger and get more mobile, must have no injuries and looking to learn something new and exciting.
