Description
We organise social rides every weekend and act as an advocate for cyclists in the Albury Wodonga area.
Catering for cyclists of all levels, we provide regular social rides which focus on having fun, exercising, socialising, and enjoying the beautiful environment of Albury/Wodonga.
We are open to people of all ages and abilities who are interested in enjoying the pleasures of cycling.
We welcome visitors, and participation in any of our rides is without any obligation to join the club.

In addition to the regular recreational cycling events, we also provide:
•Support for cycling activities in the area, eg ride2work, Bike week
•Promotion of cycling within the community
•Representation to local councils on cycling interests

Wonderful ride from Beechworth to Milawa Cheese Factory for coffee and a bit to eat . The chat with friends is always important. Magnificent weather was put on for our ride finishing off with the slog to get up Everton hill. Six riders shared this morning's lovely ride! 67km

Two rides this weekend Saturday Ride: - Ebden Reserve When: Saturday, June10, 9:00 - 11:30 Where: Les Stone Park, Wodonga VIC 3690, Australia Description: Grade: Easy to Medium - as longer than most Distance: 32 kms Leader: Leader: Rob Bishop 0408 698 133 Bike Style: Any - hybrid or Mt bike best [RIDE DETAILS] Ride out to Ebden Reserve on Lake Hume and back. Trail surface is sometime not good for road bikes, so alternate routes are available. Go east on Woodlands Rd and Brockley St. Follow the bike trail out Thomas Mitchell Drv, Murray Valley Hwy to Whites Rd where you join the rail trail. Take the rail trail to Ebden Reserve on weir. Can return via rail trail or Murray Valley Hwy. [GENERAL OUTLINE] 20 - 25 km easy ride suits all types of bikes utilising bike paths and quiet rural roads. Coffee stop near the end of the ride to catch up with the local news. Sunday Ride: BEECHWORTH - MILAWA loop When: Sunday, June10, 9:00 - 1:00 Where: Old Beechworth Railway Station - south side - meet near goods shed Description: Ride downhill along the railtrail to Everton and Tarrawingee, then road to Milawa Cheese Factory (coffee). Return by road via Markwood and Everton, then back uphill on railtrail to Beechworth. This is a very scenic ride, but does finish with steady 15km climb back to Beechworth at an average 2-3% gradient, (quite rideable, just long). Distance: 70km Grade: Medium Bike Style: Road Bike Leader: Craig Sutter 0435 258 043 ========================= General Details For These Rides: Longer Rides for experienced riders. Must be able to maintain an minimum average speed of 20km/hr for overall ride. Spare tube essential.

From west end of Dean st Thrugoona st then Pemberton st Social Ride - Albury When Sat, June 3rd, 09:00 – 11:00 Where Noreuil Park, South Albury NSW 2640, Australia (map) Description Northern Edge of Town Grade: Easy Distance: 26 kms Leader: Leader: Stephen McHugh 0409 747 083 Bike Style: Any Meet Noreuil Park 9.00am. Ride up the bike path to Pearsall st, Urana rd turn into Chant st and across the top edge of town via Roach, Prune, Strauss, and Barenbale way. Onto Kaitlers rd cross freeway and return along cycle path to Albury. Enjoy bike path scenery and frosty conditions on our first ride this winter.
