IT PAYS TO TALK TO THE TECH AND NOT A SALESMAN!!! I received a phone call last week from a lady that had been into a retailer and was told that you can't just install keyless entry to a vehicle that has central locking, you need a new kit. Now, at $120 for the full kit and around $40 per door to fit, this could have been an expensive mistake. I explained I have OEM spec keyless entry kits in stock and I can install and supply one with warranty for $80. That's a big saving right?

Need kind of a Guinea Pig for product testing. I'm thinking of selling conversion kits for VT/VX. I have bulk product but need to write fitting instructions. So if you have a VT/VX and want your dash like this, inbox me ASAP!

So today I organised to have the day off. Instead I fixed a brake light system, serviced a sportivo, and installed a head unit and minor repair of a HVAC control. 😂

Let my tell you a little a story about jamming a single filament globe in to a dual filament socket. There's obviously the problem of the dash lights coming on when you hit the brake and a couple more issues when the headlights are on. But this one takes the cake. This socket was seriously damage. So bad in fact when the right globe was put in it was causing a massive short. So after some other people replaced the brake switch and put a massively oversized fuse in it all that was happening was it was dimming all the lights even the headlights. Moral to the story is, getting a friend or that random "car guy" off Facebook to fix it for free is not only going to cost you more money in the long run, you're car could get seriously damaged. Had it not been fixed when I did it could have caused a plenty bigger problem.
