CHAMOMILE DISHWASHING LIQUID This is one of the original 11 products released by Tri Nature. DID YOU KNOW that many years ago, there was an oil spill down at Phillip Island, off the coast of Victoria? Tri Nature donated Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid to wash the little penguins as it removed the grease without removing the natural oils from their coats (which they need to survive in the water)! Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid contains chamomile essential oil and Marshmallow extract. We all know that Chamomile is soothing and healing on the skin. Marshmallow is a weed (sorry kids, not the lolly) that is used in leaky gut treatment. It's a commonly found weed in Western Victoria. Many farmers have told me how they use it during their work day to deal with cuts and abrasions. They squeeze the sap from the stalk and apply to assist with repairing broken skin. This ingredient has the same affect on dishwashing hands so it's ideal for anyone with cracked, dry skin on their hands. No soap or SLS means it doesn't strip the hands of their natural oils so there's no need to wear gloves. A lot of people worry that it won't bubble up enough for them. I have found that it bubbles up just fine. The hotter the water, the more bubbles you will get. Also it will bubble up much more once any residue of previous products are gone from the sink. However, it's worth remembering that bubbles are sitting on the surface of the water and you are washing IN the water. So bubbles are no indication of whether a product is actually effective or not. Similarly, lack of bubbles does not mean the product is not active. One of the great things about this product is the 4ml pump on top. Just one pump is enough for a whole sink load of washing up and with the pump, you only use exactly what you need, without any wastage (no need to tip the bottle upside down and pour a guesstimate amount into the sink). Chamomile can also be diluted Chamomile Dishwashing Liquid also makes a great bubble bath or body wash for extra sensitive skin if people are looking for something without a smell. It's also a fabulous pet wash for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits and penguins! Many thanks Natalie Goode for this write up :-)
