Description
Craftercise fosters 'learning through play' for 6 months-5 years olds, involving art, craft, sensory & messy play, physical activity & movement to music. Craftercise is a unique, contemporary and holistic program for pre-school aged children that fosters learning through play. It combines the joy of creativity, the delight of imagination and the thrill of a movement and art adventure.
Children (under the supervision of their parent/carer) participate in a range of engaging, interactive and self-paced circuit based activities using soft play, recycled equipment, musical instruments, sensory and play equipment. Weekly themes integrate activities across key learning areas including: literacy, numeracy, art and craft, movement and physical activity.
The inclusive and friendly atmosphere will make all adults and children feel welcome. In addition to children having an opportunity to take away a weekly creation from the art and craft activities you will also be provided with activity ideas to try at home. Each session includes messy play-based stations (optional) that children will love and best of all we will take care of the mess. This unique and contemporary program is tailored to each age group using developmentally appropriate activities inclusive of children of all abilities and learning styles. The program is conducted using a combination of state of the art and safe physical activity, sensory and craft equipment in addition to recycled, rescued, reused and home-made materials.

WOW! We have been inundated with emails and messages since the young mummy came along to a session last Friday! We are in the process of replying to everyone, please be patient if we haven't got back to you yet but we will reply as soon as possible. Due to the high demand of people wanting places for term 1 we are only able to offer a limited number of trial places per session and then the rest will be allocated to people booking in for the term. So get in quick to register to avoid missing out. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Register now for Term 1 2017. This is our last week of term if you want to try and fit in a trial before next year. It will definitely be a great one to finish the year with our Christmas theme!

Happy birthday again to Quinn who celebrated with a Craftercise party. So much fun!!
We love the fact that Craftercise is a sensory adventure for both the children and adults. Quite often we'll look around the room and see the adults building towers, finishing puzzles, squeezing play dough, running their hands through coloured rice, and even taste testing things. Sometimes we even have to remind the adults to give the children a turn!!! Here's one of our gorgeous mums loving Craftercise.
