Check this out! Ultra runner Alicia Margaret June Woodside & team have created an outdoor adventure non-profit, hosting fun outdoor adventures for young women in BC. This year Girls Gone Wilderness is offering a mountain adventure camp for teenage girls! G.G.W. aims to: 1) inspire them to lead a lifetime of outdoor adventure, through inspiring guides and amazing experiences, and 2) equip them with practical knowledge, skills, and 2 great introductory-friendly outdoor sports (trail run & SUP) to make it happen & get adventuring!
