The Dawn Workshops are looking for expressions of interest for an 'Assistant Directing for Film and Television with Andrea O'Connor' 2 day course. This course is aimed at people who are interested in getting into Assistant Directing and those already working in the industry at Trainee AD level. Over the two day course, participants will not only learn in a classroom environment but will get practical experience working with a crew while filming on set. Not a Dawn Workshop but a big thanks to Owen McPolin ISC for delivering an amazing Staging and Blocking Masterclass today in the Kerry ETB Training Centre for the Broadcast Production Skills Course. Owen has DP'd some of the biggest show in Ireland including Vikings, Penny Dreadful & Into the Badlands. Thanks to John & Niall from 24-7 Drama for the help with the equipment.

Thanks to Mr. James Eade and BECTU for running the first Creative Skillset Certificate in Temporary Electrical Installations (BS7909) course in the Republic of Ireland. Delighted to start off 2017 with an amazing workshop for PRODUCERS. On the 16Jan we will welcome Julie Ryan & Cormac Fox of Vico Films to the Kerry ETB Training Centre. Julie & Cormac are the producers of the break-out hit film "The Young Offenders" And.....thanks to the Kerry ETB Training Centre's support, the workshop is FREE but we have limited places! As we come to the end of another year we would just like to thank all the people that gave their time freely to this initiative ....Rupert McCarthy Morrogh, Diarmuid Galvin & Paul O'Connor (and others)... Without this community spirit, these workshops would be impossible to run!
