Bowhouse
Description
Bowhouse is a place where food makers work to make their products from the wonderful raw ingredients of the East Neuk and its coast. We hold regular food makers' markets where customers can meet the producers and taste their food. Bowhouse is a place for making – making food by transforming raw ingredients from the East Neuk's farms and waters into finished products ready for customers locally and further afield. Bowhouse replaces a missing link in the food chain from farmer to consumer by providing dedicated space for producers to operate in. It also has a large, covered market and event space where customers can meet producers and growers and taste their food.

The brothers grew up on Bowhouse Farm with their grandfather John Paterson Donaldson who was the farm grieve. It was Ian's 80th birthday & the whole family planned a visit to the East Neuk for his birthday celebrations. On their return home Ron very kindly sent us some photographs of the farm taken in the 1940s & 50s.
