This was my first test using the 3d printed lithophane version of my digital painting "femme bleue". Well the color is nice but i had moisture in the room and this leads to some spots on the surface... also the resin became a bit opaque. #lithophane #digitalpaint #wip #newtechnique

"Femme bleue" (Blue woman) - is a digital painting printed with pigment based ink used for fine art (by Epson). The frame has been sketched on paper first, then 3D modelled and 3D printed. After that i painted it with acrylics colors and applied a varnish. The project is finalized since yesterday!

I finalized the painting and applied already 2 layers of varnish. A third layer is still needed, and i'll be able to finish the complete project next week. Can't wait to post the final results :-) #artist #3dart #picoftheday #painting #sculpture

I started painting my 3d printed frame today :) work in progress !

Just received the 3D printed frame from i.materialise from Belgium! The result is really great! Now i need to start painting it :)
