Email bookings to:- campviewoutdooractivities@gmail.com Erne Esturary is one of the most important areas in the country for wintering wildfowl and waders.Birds found here include:- Red Breasted Meranger,Sanderling,Dunlin, Ringed Plover,Lapwing and Long Tailed Duck. During summer the site holds a very large congregation of Red Merganser ( up to 700 ) during the annual molt when these birds are changing their feathers. These birds gather near the mouth of the Erne while they are almost flightless during molt.
