The Yuma Art Center is home to the Historic Yuma Theatre, the United Building, four visual art galleries, gift shop, and several multipurpose classrooms.  The Yuma Art Center is home to the Division of Arts and Culture within the City of Yuma's parks and Recreation Department. The center advances the arts by providing distinct opportunities for community participation and artistic growth.

Starting to make those summer activity plans? Make sure that Night at the Museum gets on your family or club calendar! Night at the Museum Sleepover: Friday, June 22 at 7:00 pm to 8:00 am on Saturday, June 23 Ages: 6 – 13 and their chaperones Fee: $20 early bird registration by May 18 or $30 regular registration per person Night at the Museum is perfect for a unique family experience, scouts, youth groups or any young museum buff! Attendees will spend the night in the Yuma Art Center's galleries and have plenty of time to explore the Children's Museum of Yuma County summer exhibits and work on arts projects. We will watch a late night movie and tell ghost stories in the Historic Yuma Theatre. An adult must accompany children. One adult is required for every three children participating. All participants, including chaperones, must register. Fee includes evening snack, light breakfast, art project, movie screening and Children’s Museum exploration time. What to bring? Sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush and toothpaste, pajamas, slippers, change of clothes. What not to bring? Food, beverages, valuables.
