Trout fishing on Loon Lake opens Saturday October 21. Be there early to get a good spot. The Wiggly Worm will be serving pancake breakfast!

We now have a new bait vending machine. Currently stocked with minnows, crawlers, waxies, red worms, and a small selection of tackle. More coming soon.

We had a great opening weekend down here at Silver Springs. Thanks to everyone for coming out and supporting us and our state parks!

The Wiggly Worm will be opening for the year on April 1. Trout fishing opens the same day, so come on down and enjoy the outdoors, and some ice cream.

Catfish are biting today!

It's hard to see but there is Largemouth Bass in this picture. It's tempting for any angler to try and catch a fish like this, but this fish is protecting her eggs. If she is caught the bluegill will move in and eat all the eggs. That means less Bass to catch in the future. Please don't target spawning Bass.
