The soccer games held here tomorrow with Gillette, have been cancelled due to weather and road conditions?

Families! 8th grade students have the opportunity to test out of a Technology Class at the high school. By passing expectations students will meet graduation requirements for this course, but they will not receive credit. However, the advantage to testing out allows students to take other courses and provides flexibility when scheduling. If students are interested they need to come sign up with Mrs. Kienlen by May 2nd! Thanks!

Worland Middle School student council is sponsoring a dance for Worland middle school students. It will be held Friday night April 28, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. This is for middle school students only.

The MS & HS track meet will begin at 2:00 pm today. However the HS will go first in each event other than shot, disc, and pole vault. Therefore, most MS students won't compete until closer to 3 pm. Running events start at 3:40 pm.

WMS would like to remind everyone about the Young Authors celebration. It will be at 6:30 in the middle school auditorium. Anyone is welcome to attend and help celebrate the creative minds of all of the Young Authors winners.

The time has passed so quickly for the 16 - 17 school year. PAWS testing is fast approaching; it is so important for students to be well rested and eat a good breakfast as fuel for their mind. Please encourage your children to get plenty of sleep and eat a well balanced breakfast; studies have shown the positive effects of this concept and we want the kiddos to all be successful. Worland Middle School is in a lock-out due to an issue at the HS. This is for the safety of all students, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

FYI, with History Days being the topic of conversation, here are some dates to be aware of. February 28th will be parent night at the middle school gym. This is a chance to come see your competitor's finished project. Then on March 1st we will host the National History Day competition in the WMS gym. This is an all morning competition, with awards being held after lunch. We encourage parents to join us for the awards, it is full of zeal and energy.

Your students should be bringing home a note to schedule a time for parent teacher conferences Monday, January 30th between the times of 4:00-8:00 p.m. or Wednesday, February 1st between the times of 4:00-6:30 p.m. If you have not yet received an invitation from you student, please ask them about your invitation or call the school at 347-3233.

Worland Middle School's Geography Bee will be Friday, January 13th at 1:00 P.M in the auditorium. This is a wonderful chance for our students to showcase their knowledge. We would like to encourage parents and guests to come and watch.
