Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre
Description
Our mission is to provide the highest caliber, affordable entertainment to our patrons! The Stadium Theatre was built in 1926, and is one of the few remaining examples of the majestic Vaudeville Theatre era in operation today. Since being restored in 2001, the Stadium Theatre has developed into a community center where famed international artists like Liza Minnelli, Cher and George Winston grace the same stage as community arts organizations such as community theatre, dance and music groups. It is the Stadium Theatre’s mission to offer the widest variety of high-caliber, live entertainment to patrons at family-affordable prices.

A Killer Class Reunion Audition
When the class president decided to host a 15 year class reunion, she expected reminiscing, party games, and the occasional joke from the class clown. What she got was horror, chaos, and murder. She needs all the help she can get figuring out who is to blame. Is it the golden boy jock? Or the quiet nerd? Maybe the drama geek got tired of always being the understudy. Figure it out before another student drops out...of life. Auditions for A Killer Class Reunion, written by Brian and Ashley Lopes, will be held on Tuesday, May 23rd in the Marquee Room at the Stadium Theatre. Auditions will be from 6:30 PM-9:30 PM. A resume and headshot is not required but strongly suggested. All of those auditioning should prepare a short comedic monologue for the audition. It does not need to be memorized but it is preferred. Cold readings from the script will follow. Please arrive for 6:30 and plan on staying most of the evening. No appointments. Director, Ashley Lopes, is looking for six men and three women to round out this comedic cast. Everyone is roughly the same age, some characters can look older due to "hard living" or younger due to "having work done." Rehearsal days will be determined with cast conflicts in mind. Performance Dates are August 4, 5, and 6. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Ashley at actdougan@hotmail.com Characters: Melissa Wilson- Class President David Miller- Class Clown Robert Brown- The Nerd Dana Jones- The Goth Christopher Smith- The Jock Jason Williams- All American Guy Jennifer Moore-Williams- Prom Queen/Cheerleader Mike Johnson- The Drama Geek Dean Davis- The Bad Boy
