Wednesday is your last chance to purchase 2017 Jeep Wrangler raffle tickets to support Housing Our Own- Wilmette. All tickets sales directly benefit Wilmette senior citizens and persons with disabilities in financial need. In 2016, Wilmette resident Kurt Schmelter won $17,500 and generously donated $5,000 back to the charity (Thanks Kurt!). Tickets can be purchased on our website at the link below: http://housingwilmette.org/raffle Your support is essential to ensuring that low income senior citizens and persons with disabilities can remain in their homes and in our community. Each year, Housing Our Own-Wilmette provides more than $30,000 in financial assistance to nearly 20 Wilmette families in need. As Shirley C., one of our grant recipients, said "Jim had a stroke or he would be supporting us today. I suffer from depression and chronic back problems. We are immensely grateful for the kindness of our community helping us live out our days with enough to make ends meet." Every raffle ticket purchased helps residents like Shirley C. and we could not provide this critical financial aid without your support!
