Rice Memorial Hospital was built through the gift of a trust to the city of Willmar from Colonel Cushman Rice in memory of his parents, Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Albert Rice. Rice Hospital has grown into a large, multi-specialty regional hospital with 100 beds. Rice is a level 3 trauma hospital with a physician onsite 24/7.

Willmar Regional Cancer Center
The next Breast Cancer Support Group is Tuesday, June 6 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM in the Garden Court Conference Room at Rice Memorial Hospital. Scooter Lippert, Social Worker at Rice Institute, will discuss the fear of recurrence of cancer. This is open to any woman who has been diagnosed with breast cancer - no age limits!

Throughout the year, nurses at Rice Memorial are nominated by their patients or their patients' family members for the "My Nurse Made the Difference" Award.
