Trails, views, wildlife, and an easy escape to the outdoors all on 150 beautifully preserved acres. The Rice Nature Preserve is 150 acres of open space located in Wilbraham, MA. With over 3 miles of trails and breathtaking views, the preserve is open to the public year round for passive recreation.

A flat, fast course ending at Rice's Fruit Farm, featuring their delicious, homemade ice cream and assorted goodies. Short-sleeve, wicking t-shirts featuring the famouse "Running Apple" race logo guaranteed to the first 125 registrants. Awards given to winners in several categories. Same low $15 registration fee because this race is geared toward the overall runner experience. We want friends and families to come on out and have fun. Walkers also welcome. Race registration and packet pick-up begins at 7:30 a.m. and closes at 8:45 a.m. Plenty of parking at Christ the King Church where the starting line is located. The finish line is across the street at the Rice Fruit Farm (please no runner parking here).

6th Annual Run for Rice's 5K Road Race
A flat, fast 5k course beginning and ending at Christ the King Lutheran Church. There will be one water aid station at the halfway point. Walkers welcome. For runner safety, no bicycles or dogs are allowed on the course. All proceeds benefit the care and maintainence of the Rice Nature Preserve.
