The White River Junction VA Medical Center provides for the health care needs of Veterans in Vermont and 4 neighboring counties in New Hampshire. The White River Junctioin VA Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited surgical complexity level 2 facility, caring for Veterans across the two state hospital service area of Vermont and New Hampshire.  Located on a 64 acre hillside setting in the Upper Connecticut River Valley, the WRJ VAMC is a 60-bed primary and secondary care academic medical center.  WRJ VAMC’s acute care services include a full range of primary, secondary, and specialty care.  As an academic medical center, WRJ VAMC is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that support clinical care, education, and research missions and drives WRJ VAMC’s emergency preparedness responsibilities.  The WRJ VAMC is a member of the VA New England Healthcare System (VISN 1), which includes facilities in the six New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont).  It operates outpatient clinics in five Vermont locations: Bennington, Brattleboro, Colchester, Newport, and Rutland; and two New Hampshire communities, Keene and Littleton.

NH Fallen Heroes Moving Wall

the Unveiling will occur on June 21st at 9:00am. The Medical Center Director will speak and honor not only the 228 NH Servicemen who lost their lives in Vietnam but all those who served in Vietnam. All are welcome to come and admire the display in Building 1 (building with the white pillars) main lobby. Memorial Day Ceremony

White River Junction VA Medical Center will be hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. The ceremony will take place outside under the flag on the Veterans Memorial Brick Walkway at 12:00pm. Music will be played by the Lyme Town Band, Medical Center Director Al Montoya will open the ceremony and the keynote speaker will be Major General Steven A. Cray, The Adjutant General of Vermont. Everyone is welcome to attend this event and to pay their respects to our fallen heroes.
