Thank you to all the city officials and tennis community members who joined us for the grand opening of the new Warwood tennis courts! Courts are located past Warwood School along Wheeling Heritage Trail. They will be open daily until 11:00 p.m. and have special energy-saving LED lights that can be activated for one hour with the push of a button.

The City of Wheeling will host a ribbon cutting for the grand opening of the new Warwood Tennis Courts this Friday, August 25, at 12:30 p.m. To get to the new courts, follow Viking Drive past Warwood School and turn right at the end of Viking Drive, which turns into Lock Avenue.
Tonight's Toe Tappin' Tuesdays concert has been postponed until next Tuesday, August 29, due to the storms. The Warwood Farmers Market is also canceled for this evening.

Now that school is back in session, the City is getting a lot of calls about trick-or-treat this year. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, October 31, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The Public Safety Committee will meet Tuesday, August 22, at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers. The Committee will discuss the draft proposal of the Non-Owner Occupied Property Registration Program (available online). Public input on the subject will be accepted at that time. If you cannot attend but have feedback, please forward your name, address, and comments to the City Clerk's Office via email [jjones@wheelingwv.gov].
