Do you want to become a WV Secondary School Volleyball Official? Classes begin TOMORROW, TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2017, 5:30-9:30, Room 212, WVNCC New Martinsville Campus. Call 304-455-4684, for more information. Learn the guidelines and requirements of the WV Secondary School Activities Commission (WVSSAC) so that application can be made to become a WV Secondary School Volleyball Official. Course will be taught by a WVSSAC Volleyball Board Training Instructor, Charlene Galluzzo. Course will include classroom and court instruction. A schedule will be provided for individuals to meet the required 30 hours of coursework (20 hours in the classroom and 10 hours on the court). A list of required equipment will be provided by the instructor and can be purchased as needed. Upon completion of course, participants will be provided information to join the WVSSAC ($44) and Ohio River Valley Volleyball Officials Association Board ($20). A certificate of completion will be provided by WV Northern Community College to those for whom the Instructor designates. Cost for this course is $10 made payable to WVNCC upon registration.
