The Shea Naval Aviation Museum is now open from 9 AM to noon on the second Saturday of the month as well as from 9 to 11 AM on the last Saturday of month. The museum serves as a repository of photographs and artifacts pertaining to the military history of NAS South Weymouth and NAS Squantum. Guest speakers are hosted at least three times per year. Admission is free and the museum is tended by veterans and historians who know the history of both bases.
