Description
Home of the Lutheran High School Westland Warriors! Lutheran High School Westland, part of the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Detroit, is dedicated to the Christian education of students in grades nine through twelve. We strive to provide a strong intellectual, physical, and spiritual education in order to develop mind, body, and spirit. We realize that there are differences in individual endowments, and we take these into consideration with our students. We want to motivate them to develop fully the talents that God has given them.

IN THE NEWS!! GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL & COACH SANDI WADE Girls basketball LUTHERAN WESTLAND 50, OAKLAND CHRISTIAN 42: Emma Johnson scored a team-high 14 points on six-of-seven shooting from the floor to give Lutheran High Westland (17-1, 7-0) the Michigan Independent Athletic Conference Red Division crown outright on Feb. 16 with a victory over host Auburn Hills Oakland Christian (10-6, 6-1). Other contributions for the Warriors, who led 24-13 at halftime and 40-34 after three quarers, came from Rachel Reddeman (11 points, 14 rebounds), Emilie Fremder (10 points) and Kelli Orme (six points, eight assists). "I'm so very proud of these girls and this team," said Lutheran Westland coach Sandi Wade, who notched her 100th career win. "They truly epitomize what it means to be a team. They don't care who gets the credit and each night someone else seems to step up when we need it the most. I give Oakland a ton of credit. We had them down double digits but they never quit and kept coming at us. It was a tough environment to play in, a really great crowd (for both teams) but our girls were more than up for the challenge and they did everything they needed to do to secure the victory."
