This is what REAL freedom looks and feels like! “All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. You have a choice on how to meet today's opportunities/challenges... You can march through life with heavy steps and a frustrated heart because of what is in front of you, or you can choose different and perform all of the tasks in front of you with patience, love and joy. God has set you in this particular situation on this specific day to be a blessing and to bring and reveal the excellence and character of God into other people's lives. Be empowered and know that the choice is yours!

Difficult people... We all have them in our lives. Some are more difficult than others. If you peel back the layers of the difficult person(s) in your life, you will find the same basic characteristic/need... a deep rooted need for LOVE. Perhaps God has placed you in that difficult person's life not to moderate their irregular behavior and try to "fix" them, but to love them and pray for them. These people can seem unlovable at times, but God loves them and has has strategically put you in their lives to reveal His unconditional love for them anyways. Remember these people may be able run away from your words, but they can never escape your prayers. Love + Prayer = Victory ❤️ + 🙏🏼 = 🙌🏼 “Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:14‬

Let's Open Our Eyes! There’s nothing mediocre or normal about God. His power is beyond comprehension. His beauty is beyond description. His love is beyond measure. The same God who created the universe and formed stars desires a relationship with you. Yet, the attitude is often, “OK, God loves me. That’s great. What’s for lunch?” WHAT!?!? No. You don’t get it, bro. God LOVES you. And you’re content with, “That’s great.” Unfortunately, I've slipped into one of those thought patterns and seasons due to life, circumstances, operating in "survival mode" and frankly just a lack of discipline in my relationship and walk with Jesus. I'm ready to open my eyes! Are you?

Jesus gives us the example of the way in which we're supposed to love one another, Jesus reveals the truth about the unconditional love God has for us, and Jesus lived the perfect life we can't/couldn't. Jesus was beaten and killed in our place so when Father God looks at us He doesn't see us in our brokenness and sin, He sees His adopted sons and daughters through their faith in Jesus. “Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:6 #LovingMeSomeJesus

Found a hidden gem this morning... A reminder of how BIG and AMAZING our God is... We all bear the image of God, but are adopted as God's children through our faith in Jesus Christ and what He did (not what we've done or will do). If you are a non-Christian, God is constantly orchestrating opportunities for you to meet Jesus and the unconditional love that God has for you through Him. If you are a Christian, God is always working to unite us using our experiences to make us more like Jesus. “He did not say this on his own; as high priest at that time he was led to prophesy that Jesus would die for the entire nation. And not only for that nation, but to bring together and unite all the children of God scattered around the world.” ‭‭John‬ ‭11:51-52‬
